Doug has been an Adventure Guide in the Greater Columbia Area since early 2000. He started out by taking friend, family and neighbors out for Adventures on the rivers and out in the woods. Camping, hiking, fishing and kayaking. Certified Guide Training at the best local Guide School. Certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross.

My journey with kayaking began in 2001 while attending USC. I needed a PE credit hour and enrolled in their Whitewater 101 class and have been paddling the local waterways around Columbia, SC since. Then with the support of family and friends, Doug and I decided to form JK Adventure Guides in January 2018. Now hopefully you get to help write the next chapter...
